Whether you are embarking on your first half marathon, looking for a scenic Fall race, or looking for a great warm-up race for the Chicago, Milwaukee and Twin Cities Marathons, this is the race for you!
Race organizers have put together a rolling course that will bring athletes through historic Batavia, Illinois, and along the Fox River. The course was designed to give first-time half marathoners a less-crowded alternative to other Chicago half marathons while also presenting a serious challenge
for experienced runners looking to get their feet wet before their main Fall event.
Chicago Area Runners Association designated us as a CARA CERTIFIED RACE. This race has agreed to adhere to and uphold CARA’s Best Practices Guidelines. These Guidelines embody the highest standards for quality, safety and comfort for participants in a road race.
