In June of 2005, our lives were changed forever when our oldest child, Cal Sutter, a 12-year old South Elgin Little League All-Star, was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. The battle with pediatric cancer is a horrible nightmare no child or family should ever have to experience. Yet, like most children, Cal never gave up hope and through it all, he was always more concerned about the well-being of the other children fighting cancer than he was about himself. Even though Cal ultimately lost his battle with leukemia in August of 2006, the courage he displayed throughout inspired us to start Cal’s All-Star Angel Foundation – a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation. Our main mission and purpose – granting wishes and providing financial assistance to kids fighting cancer and their families – continues Cal’s legacy of always caring about others above anything else. We continue to run at 95 cents of every dollar going to the cause and since our founding in April of 2007, generous donors and supporters have enabled us to bring unbelievable amounts of hope and support to more than 100 pediatric cancer patients and their families. Multisport Madness Triathlon Team (MMTT) is the largest youth triathlon program in the country based in the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area. With a mission of increasing youth involvement in triathlon by training in a team atmosphere, MMTT has built a youth developmental system that supplies the United States with a steady stream of talent strong enough to compete against those from around the world in the sport of triathlon. Founded in 2002 with the generous support of local volunteer triathletes, athletes range between 7-23 years of age and possess a strong desire to compete at the highest levels in triathlon. MMTT is a 501©3 non-profit organization that has grown to continuously strengthen the sport of triathlon and guide youth triathletes toward local, national, and international competitions, world championships and ultimately the Olympic Youth triathlon provides the ultimate physical and character building challenge for kids while retaining the benefits of working together on a team. Through hard work, consistency and perseverance, MMTT strives to develop young triathletes to achieve their full potential. Although each athlete competes as an individual, he or she is part of a team that trains, travels and races together. Team members are encouraged to accept risks, endure failures, and embrace opportunities for success both in the sport of triathlon, and in life. Sponsorship Opportunity We want ordinary kids to become champions. Our program is unique, not duplicated. Our goal is to send our athletes to the World Championships and ultimately the Olympics. Because of our past successes we feel confident this will happen. PR opportunities will be worldwide as our team performs at the local and national and international levels. Youth triathlon is on the verge of explosion and you have a chance to be a driving force when that happens. MMTT is committed to being the youth athlete feeding tube in ensuring that the United States remains at the top in the sport of triathlon. We are also dedicated to making sure that as we rise to the top, you are there with us in the forefront sharing our success. For more information, please contact Keith Dickson at
