"I have probably done 30 half marathons, 12 marathons, and 3 quilts worth of 5k's. I only say all of this because I wanted you to know this was the best race I have ever ran..." ~Amy

"Wonderful event! A rave review below with one suggestion for next year: please do it again!!" ~Mike

"I just wanted to THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU for a well organized and well supported race." ~Hayley

"Wow, wow, WOW! What an awesome race. This was my fifth half this year (and have done too many others to count) and by far you guys run the best race ever, hands down."

Thank you all for such a wonderful race. I heard it everywhere I turned. I can't even imagine all of the hard work, time, and dedication that went into those three racing hours. I can't wait to have my feet on the starting line next year! Thank you!" ~Christine

"My wife Tanya and I volunteered for the Half Madness Race and we got a lot of great feedback from some of the racers. We litterally had dozens of racers thank us for working the race and each of them said what a great event it was and how much they enjoyed it. We even had one racer stop to tell us that he had a great time ane he thought that the Half Madness was more organized and beter thought out than the Chicago Marathon. Never having run the marathon I don't know, but it was great to hear from him." ~Mike

"I participated in your Half Marathon last weekend and just wanted to let you know how happy we (I ran it with 3 friends) were with the event. From beginning to end everything seemed to run very smoothly for us. I hope you plan on doing it again next year as we will paticipate."

"Everything was very organized and your after event was excellent. What a great group of volunteers you had that always seems to make or break any event of that size, and where did you find that singer?"

"I heard someone say this was your group's first time at running this which only means every time you do it again it only will get better. Thanks to all." ~Gail

I tell every runner I know, if there is one 1/2 marathon you should do it's the Batavia 1/2 madness. It's the best race I have ever run. I like the way it's run like a big race (an announcer, timing chips, finishing medals, food, beer, etc....), but has the small town feel to it (not aridiculousamount of runners, very happy fans, a happy overall feel to the race, fans throughout the whole course, at the end it's easy to spot friends and family, etc....). It's also a fast but challenging course. I have told so many people this, I thought I should tell the race director himself....great job Danny and to all that are part of putting on the Half Madness!

Thanks, Andy Swims

I am very much looking forward to running the Batavia Half Madness for my third year.   I think it is a well-organized  course with a great balance of supportive, cheering spectators and beautiful scenic views.  There were more than enough water and gatorade stations, two great stations to pick up sponges, and friendly volunteers at the start, thorough-out and end of the course.  When my husband and I decided to run a half marathon this fall, the Batavia Half Madness seemed like the perfect experience that I wanted to share with him!  Thanks for organizing this wonderful opportunity ~ I know this year's race will be another amazing experience!

Thanks!!
